Sourcerer Terms of Use

Effective date: September 4, 2026
Last updated: September 4, 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Sourcerer Unlimited LLC ("Sourcerer," "we," "us"), a Texas limited liability company, governing your use of the Sourcerer mobile application and related services (the "App").

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms also serve as the end user license agreement for the App. Our Privacy Policy and, for marketplace features, our Bulletin Community Guidelines are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the App. The App is intended for use in the United States. By using the App you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Terms required by Apple

The following terms apply because you obtained the App through Apple's App Store. In the event of a conflict, this Section controls over the rest of these Terms.

  1. This agreement is between you and Sourcerer only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
  2. License scope. Sourcerer grants you a non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms of Service. The App may be accessed by other accounts associated with you via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
  3. Maintenance and support. Sourcerer is solely responsible for providing any maintenance and support for the App. Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services.
  4. Warranty. Sourcerer is solely responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law, to the extent not effectively disclaimed. If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the App to you. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses attributable to any failure to conform to any warranty are Sourcerer's sole responsibility.
  5. Product claims. Sourcerer, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App or your possession and use of it, including (a) product liability claims, (b) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
  6. Intellectual property claims. In the event of any third-party claim that the App infringes that third party's intellectual property rights, Sourcerer, not Apple, will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
  7. Legal compliance. You represent and warrant that (a) you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and (b) you are not listed on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  8. Contact. Questions or complaints about the App should be directed to support@sourcererunlimited.com.
  9. Third-party terms. You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the App.
  10. Apple as third-party beneficiary. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

4. Your account

You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. Notify us at support@sourcererunlimited.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

If you register with an email address and password, you must verify your email address before you can use the App.

We may suspend or terminate your account as described in Section 13.

5. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

  • Paid access. Some or all App features require a paid subscription. Current plans and prices are shown in the App before you purchase.
  • Billing through Apple. All subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through in-app purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Automatic renewal. Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Managing and cancelling. You can manage and cancel your subscription in iOS Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
  • Free trial. New accounts receive a 7-day free trial that starts when you sign up. We grant the trial directly; it is not an Apple introductory offer, and nothing is charged during or at the end of it. When the trial ends, paid features stay locked until you purchase a subscription through Apple. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple, and refunds are subject to Apple's policies. We generally cannot issue refunds for App Store purchases. You may request a refund from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Price changes. We may change subscription pricing. Changes will not apply to your current billing period, and Apple will notify you and seek consent where required before an increased price takes effect.

6. License and restrictions

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own business or personal purposes.

You agree not to:

  • Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works of the App, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
  • Access the App by automated means, or scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data from it;
  • Resell, sublicense, or provide the App as a service to third parties;
  • Circumvent authentication, rate limits, entitlement checks, or any security or access-control measure;
  • Interfere with the App's operation or place unreasonable load on our infrastructure;
  • Use the App to violate any law or the rights of others.

7. Your content

You own your content. You retain all rights to the inventory records, photos, listings, comments, messages, and other content you submit ("Your Content").

License to us. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, to generate thumbnails), and display Your Content solely as needed to operate and provide the App. For content you post publicly to the Bulletin marketplace, this license extends to displaying that content to other users. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for (a) content others have already re-shared or saved, (b) backup copies pending routine deletion, and (c) records we must retain under Section 13 or by law.

Your responsibility. You represent that you have the rights to Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or violate any law. You are solely responsible for Your Content.

8. The Bulletin marketplace

The Bulletin marketplace lets users list items for local sale and communicate about them.

8.1 We are a venue, not a party to your transactions

Sourcerer is not a party to any transaction between users. We do not buy, sell, inspect, endorse, guarantee, or take possession of any item listed. We do not verify the identity of users, the accuracy of listings, the condition, quality, safety, legality, or authenticity of items, or any user's ability or intention to complete a transaction.

Any transaction is solely between the buyer and the seller. You deal with other users at your own risk. We are not responsible for, and expressly disclaim liability for, the conduct of any user, any dispute between users, any item, any payment, and anything that happens at an in-person meeting.

8.2 Meeting safely

Bulletin transactions happen in person. Meet in a public place. Do not share your home address publicly. Use good judgment. We provide tools to share pickup details privately with a specific buyer, but we do not control what any user does with that information.

8.3 Community Guidelines

Your use of Bulletin is subject to the Bulletin Community Guidelines, which you must accept before joining and which are incorporated into these Terms. Among other things, you must sell only real items you own and can hand off locally; keep language free of hateful, harassing, or explicit content; protect your privacy; post nothing illegal, counterfeit, recalled, or dangerous; and describe condition accurately.

8.4 Prohibited items

You may not list anything illegal, counterfeit, stolen, recalled, or dangerous, or anything you may not lawfully sell. This includes, without limitation, weapons, firearms, and ammunition; drugs and drug paraphernalia; tobacco and vaping products; alcohol; prescription drugs and medical devices; living creatures; hazardous materials; human remains or body parts; government-issued identification; adult content; and items subject to a recall.

8.5 Taxes and compliance are yours

You are solely responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and remitting any taxes arising from your sales, for any business licensing, and for complying with all laws applicable to your resale activity.

9. In-person payments (Stripe)

If we make in-person card acceptance available and you enable it:

  • You must create and maintain an account with Stripe and accept Stripe's terms, including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Stripe, not Sourcerer, processes payments and handles payouts.
  • You are the merchant of record for your own sales. You are solely responsible for the goods you sell, for fulfilling those sales, for refunds and chargebacks, and for any taxes.
  • Sourcerer is not a payment processor, money transmitter, bank, or escrow agent, and does not hold your funds.
  • Sourcerer charges a platform fee of 0.5% of each transaction amount, deducted automatically by Stripe from the amount you collect. If you refund a payment, the platform fee on the refunded portion is returned to you. Stripe's own processing fees are separate and are set out in your agreement with Stripe.
  • Card acceptance may be subject to Apple's and Stripe's requirements, including device and regional eligibility.

10. The App's calculations are tools, not professional advice

The App calculates sales tax estimates, profit, ROI, mileage, gas allocation, and similar figures, and generates invoices from data you enter.

These are informational tools, not tax, accounting, legal, or financial advice. Tax rates and mileage rates change, defaults may not reflect your actual obligations, and results depend entirely on the accuracy of what you enter. You are responsible for verifying every figure you rely on and for your own tax and regulatory compliance. Consult a qualified professional. We are not liable for any assessment, penalty, interest, or loss resulting from your reliance on the App's calculations or invoices.

11. Location and mapping data

The App shows business locations and public sale listings compiled from third-party sources including Google Places, Apple Maps, OpenStreetMap, and Overture Maps. This information may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Stores may be closed, moved, or misdescribed. Verify before you drive. Route suggestions are estimates and are not a substitute for safe and lawful driving. Do not interact with the App while operating a vehicle.

Third-party data is subject to its providers' terms and attribution requirements, shown in the App under Settings → About & Legal.

12. Moderation and enforcement

We may, but are not obligated to, monitor, screen, filter, remove, or restrict content and accounts. We use automated text filtering and automated image scanning, and we review user reports.

We may remove content or suspend or terminate access — with or without notice — if we believe you have violated these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or to protect users, the public, or us. Users may report content and block other users in the App.

We are not liable for any moderation decision, including removing content or failing to remove content.

13. Termination and account deletion

You may delete your account at any time in the App: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and removes your business records. Public content you posted is removed or disassociated from you. Deleting your account does not cancel your App Store subscription — cancel that separately in iOS Settings.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for the reasons in Section 12, or if we discontinue the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7, 8.1, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17, and 18) survive.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DATA WILL BE ACCURATE OR PRESERVED, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING YOUR OWN RECORDS OF YOUR BUSINESS DATA.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOURCERER AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR THE CONDUCT OF OTHER USERS, INCLUDING ANY IN-PERSON MEETING, TRANSACTION, OR DISPUTE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sourcerer and its officers, members, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) Your Content, (b) your use of the App, (c) your transactions or interactions with other users, (d) your violation of these Terms or any law, or (e) your violation of any third party's rights.

17. Dispute resolution

Informal resolution first. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at support@sourcererunlimited.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 17, you and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Harris County, Texas.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms. If changes are material, we will notify you in the App or by email before they take effect. Your continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the App and delete your account.

20. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
  • Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Force majeure. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
